During the period between September, 1973 and April, 1974 the insufflation technique which is not universallyused in hospital at present was employed in 10 cases of acute intestinal intussusception with 8 full reduction(80%). All cases were between 6 months and 26 months of age. All cases were between 10 hours and 47 hours ofduration of sickness. Two cases failed with insufflation technique were immediately treated Surgically.
