Abstract
Lymphangiomas are benign tumors of the lymphatic vessels and classified into three kinds: simple, cavernous and cystic type. They occur mainly in children, most commonly as cystic hygraomas in the neck but rarely in the abdominal cavity as lymphangiomas in the mesentery and small intestine. We have experienced an unusual case of cavernous lymphangioma of ilea mesentery demonstrated chiefly as solid mass in ultrasonography and CT and report the case briefly with reviewing the literature.
