With the recent advance in microcatheters, steerable guide wires, balloons, embolic materials and digitalsubtraction angiography(SDA), as well as technical refinements in endovascular surgery, there has been a revolutionin therapeutic strategies for cerebral arteriovenous malformations(AVMs). We have performed superselective angiography and embolization with Tracker microcatheter about 12 cases of brain AVMs for therapeutic and preoperative aims. This microcatheter and guidewire provided high selectivity of feeding artery, greatermaneuverability and useful for deliver various embolus materials.
