Authors report six cases of necrotizing pancreatitis evaluated by CT. Among 6 cases, there is low denstiylesion in the enlarged pancreas in four cases containg small air at periphery in there cases; isodense lesion onprecontrast but prominat low density lesion on postcontrast study in one case, and wide distributed air shadow inpancreas and adjacent structure in one case. CT is useful for detection of necrosis in pancreas and its extent toaadjacent organs.
