Chang, Lee, Shin, Lee, Lee, and Paik: Multiple Primary Malignant Neoplasm Involving the Uterine Cervix and the Endometrium

Abstract

Multiple primary malignant neoplasm means that more than 2 cancers are independently developed in one individual. The incidence of multiple primary malignant neoplasm is increasing gradually due to accurate cancer registry, earlier diagnosis and treatment and increased exposure to carcinogen. Multiple primary malignant neoplasm, however, involving the uterine cervix and the endometrium has been regarded as a rare entity. We experienced a rare case of multiple primary malignant neoplasm involving the uterine cervix and the endometrium and report with brief review of literatures.
