Choi, Chung, Yang, and Kim: Three Cases of Poland's Syndrome

Abstract

Poland's syndrome is congenital anomaly which was described first by Altred Poland in 1841. The clinical features are variable, but always include congenital aplasia of fingers and syndactyly. We has been experienced 3 cases of Poland's syndrome who were all male. Each case revealed thoracic muscle anomalies of one side, that is, absence of pectorails muscle with hypoplasia of nipple and breast, and ipsilateral syndactyly with partial aplasia and hypoplasia of midphalanges.
