Abstract
Rhabdomylysis may be described as the release of cellular components following damages to the skeletal muscles and frequently associated with acute renal failure. The causes are variable. Recently we had experienced a case of acute renal failure due to tourinquet-induced rhabdomyolysis which was confirmed by increased myoglobinemia and bone scan with 99mTc-MDP. So we are reporting this case with a review of the literatures.
