Abstract
Periosteal chondroma, otherwise known as juxtacortical chondroma, is a very rare lesion that occurs principally in adolescents or young adults and is chracteristically found on the proximal humerus and phalanges. It was first described by Lichtenstein and Hall in 1952 who reported six cases. The authors have recently experienced two cases of periosteal chondroma, one in a finger and one in a toe. And we report the cases with literature review.
