Abstract
It is considered that giant cell tumor is a benign tumor which has predilection for the epiphysis of the long bone in young adults. Although many methods have been used for the treatment, recurrence occurs frequently with malignant change. We report a case of giant cell tumor on the distal end of the right femur, treated by massive resection and replacement with allograft including an articular surface. We have obtained a relatively satifactory result that there were no evidence of recurrence and solid union of the graft was noted.
