Abstract
The authors report a clincial experience of nine cases of children's calcaneus fracture who were treated with operative methods from January 1985 to June 1991 at the Department of the Orthopaedic Surgery, Hallym University. Follow up was performed more than 1 year in all cases. The results were as follows 1. Preoperative average of Bohler angle was 13 degree, postoperative average of bohler angle was 27 degree. 2. All cases are good result without heel pain, heel widening and subtalar motion limitation. 3. Calf muscle atrophy due to Achilles tendon shortening are not visible in all cases, biomechanical point of view.
