Abstract
A well encapsulated, intradural extramedullary ependymoma of the filum terminale, which revealed hyperintense relative to normal spinal cord on long repetition time (TR)/long echo time (TE) images and nearly isointense to cord on short TR/short TE images and occurred with HNP on L4-5 is reported. Sometimes we overlook that kind of lesions with myelogram or routine procedure. Therefore MR with GDPA is necessary for exact evaluation of that kinds of lesions.
