Abstract
Purpose
This study was designed to evaluate the effects of a discharge education program for hospitalized readmitted patients with chemotherapy-in terms of sick role behavior and educational satisfaction.
Methods
The data were collected with a nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design and were analyzed with a nonequivalent control group pre-posttest design. The subjects included 49 patients with cancer, 25 in the experimental group, and 24 in the control group. Data were analyzed with spss win 21, χ2-tests, paired t-tests, and independent t-tests.
