Abstract

Two subtrochanteric fractures have occured during closed Gross-Kempf intramedullary nailing of 32 procedures in Kwangju Christian Hospital.
Closed intramedullary nailing of the entry into the proxlmal femur during introduction is essential, since and oblique insertion of the nail may lead to this complication and we report here on our experience.
