Abstract
Intracranial capillary hemangioma is extremely rare. We report the radiologic findings of this entily in the right middle cranial fossa of a 31-year-old man. The lesion was a well-marginated extra-axial tumor that showed hyperdensity on precontrast CT and homogeneous marked enhancement after contrast infusion. MR imaging showed isointensity with gray matter on T1-WI, hyperintensity of signal on T2-WI, and marked enhancement after gadolinium infusion. On cerebral angiography, irregular narrowing and displacement of the right internal carotid artery by the tumor were seen. The mass showed persistent capillary blush.
