Abstract
Stimulated thyroglobulin measured 6-12 months after thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine remnant ablation is a very useful guidance for risk-stratification. Thus, this parameter should be a main variable of strategy for follow-up in such patients. Serum Tg and TgAb measurement at the time of ablation just after total thyroidectomy could give a helpful data supporting stimulated Tg measured 6-12 months after radioactive iodine remnant ablation and should be considered in your own follow-up strategies.
