Houh: Four Cases of Keloid

Abstract

Keloid is a hyperproliferative disorder of dermal connective tissues, that sometimes causes perplexy and cannot be managed with medical therapy alone, such as intralesional corticosteroids or interferon injections. In those cases, the best results can be obtained when medical therapy is combined with surgical therapy.
Four cases of keloid that had been successfully treated with surgical keloidectomy and postoperative adjunctive therapy are herein reported.
