Abdominal CT findings. (A, B) About 6.5 cm sized hematoma is seen on the left lateral wall of lower rectum (arrows). No definite mass or wall thickening suggestive of malignancy is noted on CT images.

Follow-up sigmoidoscopic findings. One week later, the ulcer has slightly improved but deep and huge round shaped ulceration was still seen on rectum. Blood clots were attached to the surface of ulcer and blood kept on oozing from the ulcer base.
