Colonoscopic finding. There was about 25 mm sized bulging mucosa with focal cystic portion in the rectum.

Endoscopic ultrasonography of the rectum. In the submucosal layer, about 2 cm sized hypoechoic mass was noted.

CT finding. About 2 cm sized polyphoid lesion (arrow) without adjacent organ infiltration was seen in the rectum.

Endoscopic findings. (A) After mucosal biopsy, mucoid fluid was flowed from the mass to the lumen of the rectum. (B) Aspiration of the cystic portion in the submucosal tumor was done using injection needle.
