Choi, Kang, Jung, and Nam: Clinical Analysis of Frozen Shoulder

Abstract

The 133 cases of Frozen Shoulder are analysed clinically with followup study of at least 3 months. Sexual incidence was higher in female showing the ratio of 3.9 to 1 in compare with the male. The heihest age incidence was sixth decade commonly in both sex. Of the limitation of shoulder motion, abduction was most common and next external rotation.
The treatment Avas mainly conservatives with local injection of prednisolone at maximal tender point and physical therapy such as hot pack application, ultrasonic and pendulum exercise.
