Abstract
Carcinoid tumor usually occur in the gastrointestinal tract and occasionally find in the lung, and theincidences of carcinoid tumors are 85% and 10% respectively. Although gastronitestinal tract is most commonlyinvolved, gastric involvement is very rare. Carcinoid tumors arise form Kulchitsky cells originating in the neuralcrest. Kulchitsky cells are found throughout the gastrointestinal tract from the cardia to the anus. We recentlyexperienced a gastric carcinoid tumor and this report describes a case with endoscopic, radiologic, and pathologicfindings and discussed together with a pertinent review of the literatures.
