<abstract>
<p>Closed reduction of a dislocated bipolar hemiarthroplasty may induce dissociation between polyethylene and inner prosthetic ball head. This rare complication should be treated by open reduction. If dislocation of the bipolar hemiarthroplasty occurs, gentle closed reduction techniques with satisfactory anesthesia and muscle relaxation are recommended. We report our experience of 3 cases.</p>
